Doesn't Chris Evans run (?), organise (?), sponsor (?) or whatever (?) some kind of celebration of cars every year. Isn't CARFEST the name of it?

Maybe he wouldn't want to get involved with a programme that might result in a clash of interests.

Yes indeed he organises 'Carfest' which is held in Cheshire and Hampshire and raises money for 'Children in need'

Maybe, seems strange. He never appeared on the original show and indeed appeared to be the very antithesis of it (Britpop), although I do remember Chris Rea being on it once.
