And I want to ask people to buy the book through Lulu, after all his effort I think Jbaent deserves to get some money from it. Resellers also take their part, so nothing is left for him. And paying $ 3 extra or something like thatfor shipping won't do us all harm, half a pint less will do the job during the tour ;-)

And that is why I asked :)

And that's why I thought of asking all people here to do it like that. Thanks for writing it here Border-Reiver

Thanks Ingrid, that´s very kind from you!

It sounds wonderful.  I'll order one when the ol' visa card rolls over.    :)
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along

I got my hardback copy yesterday and must say how wonderful it is. Nice work Jbaent, it really is THE best guide for any MK fan. As I work all over London I already knew alot but I've also realised I didnt know as much as I thought. I must also say well done to DMG for your valuable contribution about Scotland. Although I've been to your fair shores I've still not managed Edinburgh. It's one of a few cities on my bucket list to visit. Well done again.

Thanks Banjo99, much appreciated.

I received my copy today too and I must say that it was so lovely to see it in print.  Not so much an effort as a labour of love for me and my small part in it.  I can only thank Jbaent for giving me the opportunity.

Yeah, thank you for the book! It was an interesting read. I liked also dmg's part a lot, because I don't know anything about this area. It's a good idea, I hope that it will be updated constantly and that more editions will see the light. Also the tunnel of love is a good edition. Very happy that the private lifes of Mk and of the persons living there are not touched. A good decision.

Thank you! I wrote a chapter about the area where MK lives and other where the Studio is, but although both respected his privacy, I had many second thoughts about it and I deleted that chapters from the book in the end.

I have the curiosity if anyone used the book or any of the chapters to do some of the routes when in London / Newcastle / Glasgow / Edinburgh...

If any of you did it and took pictures, I´d like to do a second edition in the future that might be extended with more pictures.

...and the scaffolder's wife driving topless. (sorry, couldn't resist that one)
And she's sitting in her Lusso, in the early morning sun.

Haha

Sorry, didn't want to offend you, I just thought of MK singing:

"The scaffolder's wife
Driving out of the yard
With a face that's as hard
As a scaffolder's bar -
When she goes into town
She might take the top down [...]"

 :wave

Haha, not feeling offended at all. I used the word topless earlier regarding my car, so I could expect things like this. Just funny ;-)
