OK guys, just had a good chat with Phil Palmer.
He wanted me to point out that there will not be a reunion of Dire Straits because Mark will not join.
Buy they are working on a reunion of a band with all members without Mark Knopfler himself which of course will not be called Dire Straits. He wanted me to make this totally clear because Mark will be pissed with other messages.
By the way: Phil and John are both very nice and relaxed people. Take enough time to talk with people and sign items.
Now going to eat something and have another great night with John Illsley and band in Hengelo, Netherlands

Alan Clark left The Straits because he wanted to create new songs instead of playing the DS hits alone, I don't think Guy will join them so... What a reunion would it be?

Isn't it meant to be a temporary affair - a sort of anniversary thing?   I know MK isn't going to be in the band, but what if he came on stage at the end to take a bow as the composer of all these wonderful songs?         Yes, I know, pigs might fly!
