"A few years ago I've read Rising Tide, a great book about the floods from Mississipi. They call the river The Old Man, in that region. The power of the watet from the Mississipi is unkown. I find that region and the towns Natchez, Hastings and Memphis very mystical. Also this nummer goes about a person in a book, this time from Breed D'J Pancake, a writer of short fictious stories. It's about a crane operator who works in the haven and terribly lonely, but doesn't really care about that. Pancake killed himself when he was 26. Loneliness is a problem in the current society, that hardly gets any attention"

I was always touched by this statement by MK

I know the way I can see by the moonlight

I also found another one about River Towns more personal to Mark.
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

I guess he did it. I mean, he didn't expressed well what he wanted to say. I understand he means this is a very personal song to MK.

Another MK story about River Towns is almost the same but the last two sentences are more personal. I have to translate. Because I only have the version in my language.
