Tracker snippets on iTunes sooner or later?
« on: January 27, 2015, 08:53:29 PM »

In 2012, at the end of July (25th) the first 1:30 min snippets of Privateering turned up - six weeks before release. I guess we could expect the Tracker snippets now anytime soon? Hope it is possible to get them downloaded or saved somehow.. I remember having been very happy with my Privateering Snippet CD in 2012, made it much easier to wait for the official release!

I don't really like to listen to snippets, it's so brutal when they end

They definitely are brutal because I listened Privateering snippets so hard when I checked whole thing I thinked 'Oh, that's where snippet starts' and 'Oh, that's when snippet would stop!', and so on. I strongly recommend, if you want to listen a snippet, do it for one time only or not doing it at all :)

I hate doing it but it's just so damned tempting!  :smack

Depends. iTunes offers 1:30min snippets, and after  1:30 from "Beryl"  there is not much left for you to fantasize about..

I think at the same second I discover they are online I will hear them over and over again...

Last time i listened to the snippets a lot during my holiday in August. I don't want to listen to them this time but it's indeed so very tempting!  :disbelief I hope there will be no snippets this time  ;D  ;)

I don't know why anyone would want to ruin the listening experience of hearing the album in full for the first time on proper hi-fi equipment by hearing  90 seconds at best on iTunes ??? we have waited a long time for this album, so I can wait another few weeks.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.
