Hi there

I was at the concert of Ruth Moody in Solothurn, Switzerland yesterday evening. She was absolutely excellent

. Her voice is awesome

. After the concert, I was able to chat with her a bit. I asked her on which songs on the new CD by Mark Knopfler she is singing. She told me that she singing along to 5 songs. This would include:

02, Basil
04, Skydiver
07, Long Cool Girl
11, Wherever I Go [feat. Ruth Moody]
17, Time Will End All Sorrow

Also, she told me that she will be back at various concerts there. For example, at the Royal Albert Hall or in Paris. Unfortunately not in Zurich. It's a pity.

Thank you kudo88! Glad to hear you had a good time. I wonder if Ruth is doing a duet with MK on "Wherever I go" - did she say anything about that?

Yes, I asked her about the duet in "Wherever I go". First she didn't understand my question. Then I said to her, once Mark is singing and once you. Then she said yes.
So, I'm not really sure, if it is now a duet or not. We will see.......

I hope so would play in Dublin, unlikely as the ticket says no special guest before MK, the damm O2 or Birmingham...

You can check on here on the Privateering tour dates. It was mostly the French dates and the RAH. I think she did Zwolle too.

In 2013, Ruth played on stage with Mark on the RAH shows, Amsterdam, the five French concerts in June and the last two shows of the tour in Oakland, USA.
