Well, he's one of the very few who can play songs originally arranged for electric instruments on an acoustic guitar and still keep it equally interesting. Just listening to his touch and melodic rythm is wonderful. For some reason there has been so many remakes of songs on acoustic guitars which people seem to go crazy about, and the result is almost always less interesting IMHO. But Mark surely pulls it off

It's funny people are saying he looks "relaxed", he looks like a fish out of water to me, especially with his need to talk and explain stuff during the songs. His missing the band talk during Bonaparte is quite telling, I get the impression he does not enjoy these mini performances. Although I agree with everyone, Mark sounds great doing these solo, the playing is superb, I wish he was relaxed enough to do this sort of thing.

Yes, he never looks relaxed playing acoustic; he isn't comfortable enough with his singing.

Agree, the Privateering presskit is a good example of that. I must say he looks a bit more relaxed in the life in songs docu, where he plays Romeo (yeah you can go now Pottel ). In general he doesn't like to have a camera pointed on him and someone behind the thing who says: Play something!

I loved it, but have to agree that MK didn't look very comfortable, especially when talking about the books, etc.  Just look at his hands, for example - I think they show just how uncomfortable he felt.  He seemed much more comfortable when playing, though and sounded wonderful!
