Merry Christmas
« on: December 22, 2008, 10:32:17 AM »
Dear all,

I am extremely busy these months, so you didn't see me a lot.
I don't like it not to be here so often  :'( But be sure I didn't forget you my friends.

So from here I want to wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy, healthy 2009.

Hope to be here more often in the new year.

Lots of love
Ingrid

Of course Marjorie Jane :)

"the great tracker" is torrent tracker, the link is http://tracker.knopflertk.net/index.php and there are many great unofficial recording available for download. Highly recomended.

Go to that site, Jane, and request membership.   Then you download the files.   They will be in flac, and you will have to convert them.  Or you can play them on your computer with Foobar 2000.     Be sure to keep your torrent active so that you upload  as much as you download.

As you said, you are pretty new to this, so you should get onto MSN chat and talk to someone who can walk you through it, step by step.   Good luck again.

merry Xmas and happy new year.

2008 was special musically as I got to see 2 gigs of the same MK tour (first time since 1992, I know some of you saw 112 or something but to me, 2 is many, it's like, more than 1!  8) )

2008 was special because I got to briefly say hi in person to the man whose music I have been listening too for two third of my life....... Robbie Williams... hehehe, just kidding.  ;D

2008 was the first time my other musical favourite released an album I was able to look forward to (having only discovered him in 2007). I am talking about the great John Hiatt

in 2008 I received a nice signed and numbered (No 002) copy of Guy's Inamorata.

in 2008, my dog died, although not a musical highlight, nor a highlight either, I couldn't not mention it. He had been with me for one third of my life. The next one will be called "Fletch"  ;D

2008 saw the birth of this forum, a great place for MK fans all over the world.

in 2009, I only have one thing to look forward to so far, MK's new album, but I am sure something else will turn up.

in 2010, another great tour to look forward to. This time I'll go crazy and see 3 gigs! Probably will see the first gig of the tour and hope to meet lots of you on this occasion.

Oh dear, I have done a Fieneke and wrote a very long post..   ;D  ;D  ;D oh well..

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!!

Thank you Fieneke for that sweet poem.  I have already read other lovely poems of yours (you told me of one to read on your forum, which was so beautiful) and maybe it would be a good idea to make a book of poems "Poems for Every Occasion" by Fieneke!  ;D
