It's a play on words: If you pronounce it fast, "dire rea" means

diarrhea (or diarrhoea as the Brits say) for, well, .. as Mark once had it about the meaning of "Dire Straits": "In the shit"...

french: diarrh

Simply wondering if it is still possible to get a memory stick of the Chris Rea concert please?

Blecker street closed, so I guess no, at least from them. Try sites like Ebay, discogs etc that would sell second one hands.

I'm always surprised by the insane number of MK fans who also like CR. He really doesn't strike me.

Any song suggestion that may change my opinion?

Thanks for the songs, guys  :wave

Every time I listen to CR it makes me want to listen to more MK. To me it feels like Chris is kind of a weaker version of Mark.

To me the one album that captures the essence of Mark's sound and still sounds very original is Keith Urban's band's The Ranch. It's a shame that Keith ended up taking the pop-country sound path.

Wired to the moon must be his most underrated album probably. Title track is a must-listen
