Well, I remember back in the days boys and girls used to ask their idols to sign them on their skins and they tried not to wash the specific place for a long time.

I also remember a Roald Dahl story where a beggar had a tattoed painting on his chest, by a very famous and expensive painter. You should read it, I ain't going to spoil it for you, it is fantastic!
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Do they auction for him? And afterwards his skin ends up in a gallery? If yes, it might be inspired by the story!
Dahl is a genious. Not only his famous children books, but his strange short stories as well. In the movie "Four rooms" the final story with Tarantino comes from a Dahl short story.

Tales of the Unexpected was great.  Used to scare the life out of me when I was a kid.  And that was just the music! :lol

Searched for the plot on imdb, but I could only find two reviews that say something about a tatoo (the title of the movie) but nothing more. From watching the trailer (thank you for the link) I guess there is some serious connection! And I love Funes. Some of my most memorable childhood Sunday afternoons, are going at my aunt's place and watching Funes movies on the TV. (We didn't have one at home)

"Une nouvelle de Roald Dahl, Peau, qui est apparue entre autres dans le recueil Bizarre ! Bizarre ! (1954), a un sujet similaire : un vieil homme, Drioli, a sur la peau du dos un portrait de sa femme tatou

OK, so it is similar. But has it influenced the script writer as well? Who knows! I will certainly look for the movie, even though without English or Greek subtitles I will be completely helpless. Thanks JF!

This is the link for the car. Itis a custom made job. It is a good idea, even though I don't much like the particular item. To many different things on such a small surface. I would do for a single theme, like the BiA cover art, with the colours and clouds covering all the car and the guitar either on the roof or the hood.

Sweetsurrender, I read his listing, and since he custom  makes these cars, you could actually get in touch with him and ask specificaly what you want!
