There was a lot of traffic with the answers, so when you pressed "Post" it probably came up with the warning"While you were typing someone else sent a reply, you might want to revise your post" or something of the sort. If you don't pay attention and close the page, the message is lost. It used to happen to me a lot but after losing some lengthy posts that I didn't have the courage to re write, I wait a bit before closing the tab.
I can never get used to this inches thing, but thank vinyl for giving me a rough guide (3'',5'',7'',10'',12'' ) The 35 format is 2 to 3 but this paper must be a 20x25 or something like that.
Another thread another time twm, but thank you for the Issermann piece with Dylan! Double thanks, since I found (haven't heard yet) some Cohen recordings as well!

what is a bit strange is that Chris White is on keyboards  ???

sorry for the pics, but I made some collages when I was a teen, and only few ones survived ... ::)

Anybody seen this show? Maybe it was playback? Shows like this should be the content of a special DVD. But there must be an archive if it was aired. From the TV channel that broadcasted it or a random VCR recording by a fan (or from accident, maybe someone had a time recording for another channel ) ;D

Looks like a pretty cool photoshoot to me but the date doesn't add up.  On the 11th of November they were in Linz, Austria playing the day before and after too.  They didn't reach Paris until the 27th of November...

I don't imagine they actually performed there but it looks as though they are doing a promo photoshoot for the show in the depths of the Paris Metro.  Where did they find the time if the show was broadcast on 11th November?

There is a number on the back of the photo "291185". That might be the date of the photoshoot/TV recording session. The broadcast date is also givem -it was 6 December, as I recall, but I'd have to double-check.

How do those dates fit in with the itinerary.

That would make sense as they were playing the Bercy from 27 - 30/11/85.  Thanks twm.

for those that don't have this book, here is a nice copy with cheap starting price. The only  official biography of the group, by Michael Oldfield. Until the next one it is a good start for the first 6 years of the band.

Here is another copy of Oldfield's book with a cheaper price but more expensive postage.
