It's already off target for me (I'd have to add shipping to Italy + Customs fees to the current price). Anyway I want to thank RKD for his precious willingness.
Next in line?  :lol

it ended in quite reasonable price compared to the italian listing.
Maybe we should  establish a more permanent contact with USA AMITers, so that we can bid without all this going around.
RKD, thank you for responding! (Even though I didn't have time to read your offer until after it was over. And anyway, it went too high for me.)
May I contact you with a PM to establish that contact for future situations?
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I've just managed to grab myself a BIA tour book for the grand sum of 99p and a "live in '85" enamel badge for
"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

Check this:

Maybe I'm missing something, but what exactly is the difference between the item in that ebay listing and the version
here
that you can buy on amazon for $12? Aren't they both the same 20th anniversary edition two sided discs?

I remember I bought it when it came out in 2005 at a local record store and I thought the idea of a two sided disc was kind of neat but not exactly novel. Too bad the format flopped.

In 2005 there were SACD and 5.1 Surround double sided cd/dvd. Nothing special so the price for this (5.1 Surround) item is way overpriced!

Dan there is a great difference. This is the dual disc, long deleted, and overpriced. The other is the most common edition SACD(with faux 5.1) that you find sometimes at used record stores. But the price is hardly 15$, it is 22! (Or since your link it has changed!!!!)
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

one is SACD the other is DVD-A. But the biggest difference is that the SACD is still available everywhere, the DVD-A is out of print and this drives up the price

Nice, thanks, I didn't know that the DVD-A was out of print. That's the version that I have. So now I can sell it on ebay for a huge profit...lol...just kidding.  ;D

Dan, I don't think that anyone buys these CDs/DVDs at such ridiculously  high prices. I don't even know why they put them up for sale. Maybe some wealthy Russian or Arab, fan of MK will buy it!!!  ;D  It is a total rip off, even for them. If you wait long enough you will find everything at the affordable price you were willing to pay. Of course seeing the first edition of BiA longbox, was a thrill and I was willing to pay for it up to 50$. But it went over 100$!

My guess for the ones with the overpriced items (200-700 dollars) is that they are re-sellers, actually not having in their possession the object, but with better means to advertise it and sell it. When they get the sale(remember they are getting paid in advance), they find one such copy at lower price (or have already located it) or cancel the order if they can't find it. I don't know if ebay allows such tactics, but I have seen it happen at Alibris.com.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
