I try not to get too excited about these lyric information - it really says not too much about the song. The info about Beryl sounds great but ended in a rather repetitive song with some key words (Booker, grave, tobacco). Also musically it could have been interesting. So the lyrics are one level, for me a very important one, but Tracker could be a mess nevertheless, although it all sounds very interesting!  ;D

Yes, could be a mess, and i try also hard not to be overexcited in advance. The higher the level of preexcitement is the more likely the expectations can't be fulfilled. But it's very hard to keep calm. Still looking forward to the album... :wave

I've got some info again. I asked a Dutch music journalist on Twitter if he had already heard tracker. He said no, but a journalist who is a friend of him did hear it. And he was very enthusiast about it. I recall that Leo isn't very fond of the slow folky melodies (and his friends neither) so maybe I can conclude that it could be a more uptempo album. And of course, that the promo lines we read in interviews are right. That it sound more like dire straits than his solo work. Again, as LE said, says nothing about the album but it's interesting to hear that critical journalists (which I know for a fact) are enthusiast about it!

Very interesting

So people from the press already heard the record...

Probably, he refers some lyrics, melody... Long Cool girl and the opening track sounds interesting. Ruth Moody and folkie thing will be a skipper for me. At least they should give us the lyrics for god sake. They working like CIA.

How do you know it's a skipper when you haven't heard it?  :o
