By the way, 2015 will be the 30th anniversary for Brothers In Arms. Isn't it's cool?
I wonder if Mark delayed Tracker release just to match these years.
In 1985 you get BiA in record stores to test you CD player, now...

Maybe they decided to release Tracker on the anniversary of BIA release - 17th May...

Honestly, I guess that he couldn't care less. But it is a company thing, not all of it is in his own hands.

Maybe the super-duper special edition deluxe version will be released with BIA outtakes to coincide with the anniversary, hence the delay.  That's why they want to release it the same day as the original BIA album back in 1985.   :think

Nah, not his style.

May 17th would mean sitting in Dublin and having no new album as the tour starts May 15th..

I just found a tracker release date. This source says April 15th. Don't know how reliable the information is, but i checked a few other release dates that seem to be true. If it's true, it's still a loooooooong time to wait  :-\

Sorry, correction: Due to the missing of line spacing I have overlooked that Tracker is categorized as "TBA/Rumored", so back to the start! No clue when the release date is supposed to be

I guess "early" (as in "early 2015") has a flexible definition for MK and his gang.  Kind of like "soon".

Haven't a clue but it would be great for a box set, wouldn't it?

Don't think there are any outtakes, due to the recording procedure,  but I would love to hear some demos!
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

That's a point.  Except maybe Terry's drum track.  :think

;D  You got it right away dmg. If I remember correctly they had all the tracks down and were not happy with Terry's drumming and brought in Omar who did the work in a couple of days. So it was not cut "live" to have outtakes, only an extra scrapped Terry's drumming maybe, but surely it was never mixed. And if it was so bad to call an outside drummer, it would probably be very damaging for the "image" of the perfectionist MK had. And since we were never got the "extras" from the albums that every fan knew existed, it is highly unlike to get from these ones.

I don't think there was any suggestion TW's playing was "bad" - just that MK wanted a different vibe to the recordings that was not in Terry's style. I'd love to hear his versions - DS were always at their best when Terry was on the sticks, and there's a chance I might prefer what he did.

Good news is that these are US release dates, if you check amazon most of the items listed here will be released one or two month earlier in Europe!
