A source from spain gave me the following info:

CD : 11 tracks
CD Deluxe : 4 extra's (don't know if he means 4 bonus songs)
CD Box: 6 extra's (songs?) + dvd + vinyl

If that Spanish source gave you that info it means that the official information is coming in no time.

Seems that Dutchessy's spanish source is quite right about the release forms.

Here is the track list for the Deluxe Edition. From iTunes. 15 tracks. The normal version has 11 tracks.

It's the end of a perfect day..,.

Cool, Jarle, even with track lengths! Thanks!
Now we know that within a few weeks we probably will have the iTunes-usual 30 sec. snippets, the same as we had with Privateering.

A Special Edition with 4 new songs - I wonder who ever will buy the normal version..

Geez, this looks stunningly good! To have track lengths of this duration hints to me of something special! Roll on March! I know we should not wish the most precious thing we have away - time - but I can't wait for March!
Phew!

I needed it a little bit easier to read :

MARK KNOPFLER - TRACKER

1   Laughs and Jokes and Drinks and Smokes(6:39)
2   Basil (5:44)
3   River Towns(6:16)
4   Skydiver(4:38)
5   Mighty Man(5:55)
6   Broken Bones(5:30)
7   Long Cool Girl(5:05)
8   Lights of Taormina(6:09)
9   Silver Eagle(5:01)
10   Beryl(3:10)
11   Wherever I Go(feat Ruth Moody)(6:24)

DELUXE EDITION
12   .38 Special(2:46)
13   My Heart Has Never Changed(3:48)
14   Terminal of Tribute To(5:52)
15   Heart Of Oak(1:43)

The "short" ones as the usual bonus "rubbish" one might to add..  ;D. Really, this is the answer to all my track list questions every year - all tracks on the regular album are pretty long! Like it! I have trouble with the meaning of the "to" and the meaning of track 14?

Ok, here's my try:
Track 1: Another "In the sky" - atmosphere, and the songs and the laughter are carried away...
Track 2: Basil (Rathbone) a song about the good old times of Sherlock Holmes in black and white
Track 4: Skydiver: About Felix Baumgartner, no doubt
Track 5: The Mighty Man's Too Strong!
Track 6: Mark remembers his bad motorcylce accident and the pills
Track 12: Kingdom Come to this Camerado..

The box has 6 extra songs, the same 4 than the deluxe but with two more, I don't know which ones, maybe checking the PDF...

Basil Bunting.

Wow, sleeve notes written by Richard Ford.

And the press release differs between four bonus tracks on the deluxe CD and 6 extra tracks in the lavish box set...

From Guy's Forum:

Q   -  Very cool tune, but thank God that's not the official release. That means you still have time to get rid of those annoying keyboards, that sounds like a bee trapped in an empty coke can.

Guy   -  It's called a Vox Continental. I'm glad you like it as it's all over the rest of the album, quite heavily featured (since I mixed it!)

Hahaha, "a bee trapped in an empty coke can". I wonder who posted this. Brilliant!

Personally, I can live with the amount of bees in Beryl, but I'm not very fond of the sound, either. I think Mark and Guy use it when they want to make something sound "funny/comical". Like in Do America, Who's Your Baby Now, We Can Get Wild etc. But I don't think they're very good at that; it always sounded cheesy rather than funny to me. If you want to be funny, you'd better be REALLY funny. Some Vox Continental alone won't do the trick. But anyway, OF COURSE it won't be all over the album.
