New release of Local Hero from Great North Run

The ceremony in which MK is involved is today, isnt it? Anyone knows at what time is it? Any chance that its spotted on the news?

I just turned on the local Northeast & Cumbria news and the reporter was saying that we had just missed Mark Knopfler rehearsing for the show and then the cameras showed MK leaving the stage, carrying his red Fender.  He was wearing a flat cap and a suede jacket and he didn't look at the camera.   Then there was a fairly long interview with Sting and Jimmy Nail.   Sting said he was looking forward to hearing Mark playing Local Hero (sic)!

Nice reporting Val.  Good to have our roving reporter on AMIT keeping us up to date! 

Too bad he ignored the camera.  Obviously knew that a glance would have involved having to stop for an interview!

Exactly!    How I wish my hero was as open and talkative as Sting!

Thanks for that Dutchessy.

A bit rusty, especially at the start but not too bad.  Pity the sax was a bit high in the mix though.  Probably done deliberately by Mark because he didn't want any foul-ups to be noticed.
