Tomorrow (Tuesday, 12th of August), on the German radio station "hr2-kultur" will be a broadcast on the occasion of Mark Knopfler's 65th birthday, at 12.05 clock (at noon). It will last 50 minutes. The broadcast can be heard on the radio, and also via live stream.

Happy birthday Mark! Watching the latest EC YouTube clips, I think he did look better last year but has time enough to lose some weight before tour starts!!    Mark, you are allowed to interrupt your daily listening sessions to the new stuff and have a little party today. But not too much, we want that new album better sooner than later.. Hope for comping/mixing sessions in September and announcing a release date as soon as possible.. .

Has anyone heard today's radio program on hr2-culture in the occasion of MKs 65th Birthday? The presenter spoke with Peter Kemper about Mark Knopfler, his beginnings, his work, his philosophy of life and much more. Kemper is among others a Music critic, rock historian and Mark Knopfler expert and he had accompanied Knopfler for 2 days in the 1980s and conducted several interviews with him.

I think, it was a very nice talk about Mark Knopfler.
