I listened to the first available tune. Although I liked it (Gilmour's guitar and voice cannot possibly be hated), I had the same feeling as for "On an island": nice, but a bit too "easy listening" compared to PF's golden era...
What disappoints me most (sorry Pottel) is that Roger was not involved. A great opportunity was missed. Those guys, after 20 years of stupid fighting, have reconciled. They now invite each other on stage, they hug each other, they speak about forgiveness... so why on earth couln't they reunite and merge under the PF brand
why had Roger to say "I don't belong to PF, I left PF 19 years ago, that's no rocket science" ? What are you waiting for, guys: for yet another key member to pass away ? haven't you learned your lesson the hard way when Rick died before the 4 of you could do another album together ?
I had a dream that all 3 of you would work together again and release an album under the brand "What's left of Pink Floyd"...
Oh well. Love you guys anyway, you and Mark are the best musicians ever.
