Thank you Klaas - I enjoyed it very much.   It was interesting to hear that JJ's song "Fancy Dancer" was JJ trying to be Knopfleresque!

JJ had a fine and wide taste in music. I remember once saying that he loved smooth operator! And his studio sound was so far from the stripped down usual live outings.

That probably explains his long stints at the RAH.  He expects his audience to travel and stay in a hotel when they go to see him!

That explains why EC tours every year in Japan, some European countries and some US cities, and of course the Crossroads festival.

I heard EC complaining about touring for years, while touring every year. Could this complaining finally his last?

I think he loves to play, and if he finally means it, maybe some dates at the Rah or and English cities near London, would be his only live shows in the future...

I don't care how he feel about touring but he has a great fidelity for his friend and musical heroes. Howling Wolf, JJ... And i learned from this interview and some other, that MK is always so distant to the other artists and guitar player exept the great Chet. Especially with the high profile musicians.
