I agree with dmg, it' a pitty that Mark plays that style on covers, or on other artist contributions, and not on his own songs...

great tone, great playing, great laid back atmosphere...well it's typically THE kind of style/song/guitar tone that made us love Mark's music, right ?

 :thumbsup :thumbsup

couldn't have agreed more !!!!! :clap :clap   :clap

I've only just had a chance to hear this song, because I've been away for a while, but I like it very much indeed!   :thumbsup    I don't know why, but the vocal style reminds me of "He's The Man" in some way.  Personally, I think it's an MK composition in the style of JJ!  :think

According to this, both Someday and Train to nowhere are unreleased JJ Cale demos.

Don't know if it's funny, ironic or just sad that MK can dig out and record unreleased demos made by another artist meanwhile his own demos never will see the light of day.  :think

You never know, perhaps some day when (God forbid) Mark passes, we'll get to hear these songs performed by another artist too, like the Biebs!   :disbelief

Maybe Eric Clapton found
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

So after all they were demos, as I have assumed earlier in the thread. Thank you for letting us know!
Pottel, I want that one as well! More for the demos than the cover versions. I wonder if it will be released later on a single cheaper disc. (Only 4-5 unreleased demos)  Or maybe if there is somewhere else I can find it a bit cheaper...
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

These ones performed by Mark will surely be the most eagerly anticipated by both Cale fans as well as ourselves!

And as usual (to me) iTunes sucks big time. Remember 2013 I think I was not the only one.. which store, which country? Tried and could not find anything.
Any help would be very nice.
