Sheffield 1991 recording
« on: March 21, 2014, 04:36:14 PM »
Hi fellow DS fans :)

I have been looking around the web for years after unreleased OES-tour bootlegs. Specially from the first leg of the tour (since I really enjoy that part). Today I came across this link. It includes the text file and everything. But I can't manage to download it. It says its a recording from the first night in Sheffield. A very interesting thing here is that track nr 10 is called "Blues Bus". According to setlist.fm (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/dire-straits/1991/sheffield-arena-sheffield-england-13d49191.html) its "Millionaire Blues". I have seen a lot of pages listing the set list for the first night in Sheffield, and they all mention "Millionaire Blues". I KNOW that this is most likely wrong, but hey.. What if it is right? :)

This is the text file:
Encoding: MP3-128kbps, Bootleg Rating: 7/10

Artist: Dire Straits
Date: 1991-08-30
Venue: Sheffield Arena, Sheffield, England
Tour: On Every Street Tour

Setlist:
1. Calling Elvis
2. Walk of Life
3. Romeo and Juliet
4. Heavy Fuel
5. Planet of New Orleans
6. Private Investigations
7. Sultans of Swing
8. Your Latest Trick
9. On Every Street
10. Blues Bus
11. Two Young Lovers
12. Tunnel of Love
13. Setting Me Up
14. Money for Nothing
15. Brothers in Arms
16. Why Worry

Here is the link to the page I found the download-link on (please read the below part before you try to download it):
http://concertsgalore.net/file/dire-straits-at-sheffield-arena-sheffield-england-on-aug-30-1991-concert-bootleg-download-109402.php

When I tried to download it, I had to register on a dating site. Since I

Yep, totally right. In the above mentioned link, the name of the song is already corrected. Couldn't download it as well.

That place is bullshit, there are many many many not available MK / DS concerts listed there that are impossible to download, it must be something spammy that get the info from setlist.fm.

Agree with Jbaent on ITILYTM being Blues Bus.  He often used that line.  Really nice set though as often at the start of that tour with PONO, TOL and SMU (if correct)!  :P

On the subject of Mark's jokes:
While watching 'all the roadrunning dvd this morning and specifically the Emmylou/Mark interview, Emmy was saying that her mother always tells her to wear her Bike helmet to which Mark quickly piped up 'and on her bike too'!!

Pretty coolio...
