As you are all probably aware, I am very keen indeed on the Fender 'MK' Signature Series Stratocaster - so much so that I am lucky enough to now own two of them - SE00616 & SE03805 (originally I owned four!)
I am curious as to how many other AMIT members own one (or two even!)
Therefore I would like to create a 'Register' of Serial Numbers & Owners/Locations so we can all see where in the world some of them live!

SE00154, bought new in September 2003.

"Wrong" colour of red.

Signed on the headstock by MK at Hay on Wye, May 2007.

SE01997 ordered on line from a UK dealer in early November 2005. (A 50th Birthday present to myself)
Delivered Jan 2006.

This guitar had not been put together at the time I ordered it - see the date (11/22/05) on the inspection sticker.
and if you look at the inside edge of the lower horn you can see the fist ding I put it while taking the scratch plate off !

Yes agree - interesting photo. Certainly haven't had the scratchplate off of mine either...

There's only one way to tell  . . .    ( easy enough to do when you next change strings) . Just don't drop the scratchplate end-on onto the guitar !   Having said that, I expect they all should have the stickers

My Mk Stratocaster showed up today, it's in pristine condition.
Serial # SE12236 it must be one of the last units built.

Know it looks like I ail have to take some basic guitar lessons.

I like it very much, it's taken me 10 years to put together.

I would look at something else for next Xmas, Valve (tube) amps are expensive to maintain, I changed the caps and valves
in Sept 13 at a cost of $4500.00 and I did the work myself. (the amps are $32K new)
