Job to say with regard value judging by those two sales... I'm guessing somewhere around £2000.00p is correct.

Mind you I will never part with my 'Signed' pair!!!

Mine won't be sold until I'm in the ground anyway so it doesn't really matter but interesting to see.

Mine is Dakota red and signed on the headstock so in theory rare but perhaps less appealing. I'll never know but my kids will be interested.

As I've just added a link to a very nice MK Strat currently for sale I thought I'd take a look at what they have been selling for within the last couple of months or so. The RRP at the time of first release in 2003/04 was £1,500.00p....

SE00841 -  £1,699.00p
SE04484 -  £2,250.00p

quite a difference in price it seems!!

Because some people want to sell the thing and some people are ok with selling the thing...
If I had an MK Strat and was willing to sell it, I'd sell it for 1,500 $ and I don't care about margin.

I love guitars, but to me it's still just an instrument, a funny little wooden box (or slab of wood, for electric guitar). It doesn't mean any guitar is nothing to me, but I certainly don't worship it. And if I have to sell, put away or give away guitar, I just do it. Nothing personal 8)

It's not really a massive increase.

My MK strat cost my £1,300 in 2003. So if you are buying these as investment you would probably be better off with a decent savings account.
