Ridiculous price as always. Why not £25,000? I'm disappointed. Man, $3,500 for a strat? Is this Todd Krause Custom Shop or something?

By the way, the guy's nickname "sosite1" is very strange, in Russian this means very rude and bad things.

He attempted to sell this guitar a few months ago claiming he had to because of car issues, but later pulled the listing. I made several very reasonable offers that were shrugged off. He claimed the car got fixed and had no interest in selling it any longer. Now, it reappears...

They have it listed on multiple sites. It looks strikingly similar to the Strat that sold a week or two ago on eBay for 1400... I messaged, he would accept an offer of 1650, no lower.

I thought about it, too. Well, they certainly got a great deal, but still it's a legit 10 years old MK Strat.
But why they didn't want to spend an extra $1 and put this selector tip I just don't get it. Come on!

That certainly doesnt give me a very good vibe on how well the guitar was cared for...

I have an advice, question to ask you. I will give away my 00089 to one of my best friends who will use it as she deserves. But I like to do things properly and by an unknwon reason I can't find the CoC of the guitar from Fender. I know i had it and I am so sorry to can't locate it...Any of you could help me to contact the right personn at Fender to retrieve archives (from July 2003, I have pictures of the dismounted guitar) ?

Yeah, a beautiful guitar. I miss MK Signature Strat, though. I hope they reissue it someday, what a guitar.

Which reminds me of Gibsons. The Custom Shop VOS 1958 Reissue is pretty much the same thing as MK 1958 LP, but costs 2k euros more. Oh...

Makes me wonder again why Fender discontinued the Signature. Could they not find an agreement as Mark wanted more royalties, or rather the opposite, Mark wanted it to be cheaper than Fender could produce it with these specs? (Wasn't it the cheapest nitro guitar in their product range??!!)

This guitar for about 3,500 € with very similar specs points to the second option.
