Whereas he confirmed to me only "that we work on new songs", he was able to confirm 15 seconds later (yes, it was F5-real time reading) "how about a new album". The reason for the few dates was being "eager to get back into the studio".. Also a possible US DVD asked by Julio got a No-No...

As I said, just for the record, you can read yourself. But this will maybe become a looong thread and it''s fun to read how we got started here in let's say one year...

Yes, isn't it great. After one day for this news to sink in, I realized how blessed we are to have him this profilic at the moment.. After the last few years of constant touring, two Bob tours, double album, nobody could have wondered if he would do a break for a year or so. Instead of that, right after the holidays from touring, he gets back into the studio to work on. Really phantastic. The whole cycle will start again, Guy will probably put up another diary etc... Happy!

Well, he has said he was "tripping over songs" so let us hope they are winners and he steers clear of the type of bluesy numbers he was attempting on Privateering.  A loss for me.

Phantastic news!! And so quick after the tour. If they speed up working then hoping for a release in sept 2014.  That would be really fast!

It's now confirmed that they are working on new album the Q was asked by our own Forumer Singh.  Yeah !!!!! And the answer was a short and sweet " YuP"  I concluded that to get answers from GF, it has to be short "YES ? or NO ?

Now, we can put two and two together.  On :wavely 5 shows in the US so they can get back to work on the new album .

I agree, wholeheartedly with LE in that MK & band feel/sound fresh and in fine fettle and it would be criminal NOT to continue with anything else!

Roll on the new album whatever it may contain - pure genius me thinks!!

So, it won't be long until we all meet up again on another tour then!!!! Woooohoooo!!

a dream for me is that mark will play an album or some songs tribute to JJ Cale,  songs that haves that taste of tulsa sound, with guitars like in heads in georgia  better like a knife cutting through to six blades

We had bluebird on the last album that could have been JJ
