yes it does indeed - the complete answer to the question about the possibilty of more tour dates to come in the US:

Which implies that the result of their work in the studio will lead to more tour dates or tour. Which can only mean work on a new MK album if I am not mistaken. Good news, also not very surprising. I was never expecting a new album more than after this tour. MK seemed so fresh and "re-loaded" that it is just logical to me.

Yes, release date would be the usual Sept/Oct date which also means ticket pre-sale starts around the same time... I did a rough count and came to this conclusion: Let's start and save money for a HEAP of tickets for the next tour...

Guy's answer leaves no room for speculations from my point of view. "We'll be back soon" can only relate to a proper MK record.. but of course nobody says they will be ready at the schedule we wish for...

I just remembered Guy's answer from July:

On 29th July Jon Bell Poitou-charentes asked: What are the chances of a new album from MK in 2014?    
Guy's answer was: Well that's next year and we haven't anything recorded, so I doubt it

Maybe that will change within the next few weeks!

Awesome news! I love how Guy relishes an opportunity to let the cat out of the bag! But what if Carol Friend had never asked the question about shows in Canada this year??

Yes, that they are back in the studio seems to be great news.
I still wonder, though, how it makes sense for them to do just five shows on the US west coast this fall. There's got to be some good reason. Some have speculated that they're doing video recording for a DVD, which would be great. Or that it's in response to MK signing with a new US record company and promoting Privateering's release in the US. I don't know. Just interesting.

2013: mk and guy working on demos, maybe when the short US tour ends the band travel to London for some sessions
2014: The band goes to the studio late january or early february to record, then the usual production and release on september. Tour anounced and tickets on sale during october
2015: tour starting in march or april

I think it fits very well
