In his final (very recommendable) entry of his tour blog Isaac wrote about some technical problems after "Song For Sonny Liston" and some word exchange between Mark and some "smartass" in the audience. It was not so pleasant to read, I guess Mark looked a bit arrogant here, but I wonder if this will be kept on the stick recording... It seemed there was a heavy "buzzing" first with Glen and then later Kerry was on the stage to detect the source which was found near Ian's drum kit... seemed to have been actually a real little concert break... Did anyone report about that earlier? Lots of little mistakes here and there. You are just not used to it being an MK fan (apart from Sultans)  ;)

LE

A friend of mine who was there told me about this, and other things...

- MK shouted SHUT UP to someone in the audience, they dont know why, but MK did it very rudely, and it looks like MK had second thoughts about it and laughing, asked to that person his name, like saying sorry...

- Many people left the venue after Telegraph Road, looks like some Cap Roig audience doesnt care too much for the concerts, but for the elitist ambient of the festival.

- Also some people commented that MK

Almost sounds like Pink Floyd animals tour in 77 when Roger spat on a fan and David left abruptly...

Well, he's (still) a perfectionist obviously. Maybe he was really annoyed by the increasing number of mistakes (Ianto's, buzzing, etc.). Little outbreak, or a fall-back into the times of OES tour and stuff. Fits however to the way he was leaving then - the evening maybe was spoiled for him... just a pity that it was at the last concert of a high-praised tour... Did he say the usual thank-you's to band, crew and management as usual by the way?

No, my friend didnt heard the spanish guy, just the MK SHUT UP

My friend didnt notice anything that made him think that it was the end of the show, and the tour, he was very surprised in a negative way when he noticed it was the end, an he heard many comments saying the same from others fans in the way out of the venue.

:clap BIG thank you to Allen for running the Concert thread this year, was a huge success and the Privateering tour will rate highly for all the right reasons!!  ;) :wave Plenty of discussion, on each show, plenty of great videos on YT and of course the chance to buy the USB sticks of most shows!

Yes,thanks AMIT!

Information flow is amazing, the setlist pages are stylish and easy to digest. Thank You all.
Our expectations in this day and age are a lot higher too I think.
If there was an Internet forum back in 77-85 I'm sure some folk would comment, 'why is the setlist the same every night?' ;) enjoy what life throws at us people, life is short! :)

Sounds to me like an English thought was translated almost literally into Spanish:   Do you have some cooking books?

...perhaps they heard about the touring cookbooks?

To avoid confusion, for the record, my comment was an attempt at humour. Sorry for any misleading Spanish!!

My thanks to AMIT is sincere. :)

I can imagine it was something like: "play Sultans!"
