Jbaent, go to the shop now and buy a lotteryticket  ;D
Any news of dmg's lottery ticket ?

He forgot to buy I believe

No I believe I read he had only one number, so nothing

Actually, I just got back last night from holiday and I'm catching up!  I found out that with my ticket for yesterday's draw I won!  A tenner. ::)

Must add my thanks to everyone involved with the set lists and organisation on this wonderful forum.  Following the concerts and sets as they happen and reading all the comments is the next best thing to actually being there. :clap

Oh, and Tunnel - Switzerland rocks!

Nice to have you back, dmg!   Hope you enjoyed your holiday!   :wave

Thanks, I did.  First time in Switzerland and I don't think it'll be the last.

That's too much Herlock, just tried to help a little, which worked out well
Whatever... It was great :)
Before the tour I was thinking: "it would be nice to make some new friends while attending concerts from an artist I love"
Now my thinking is more:"it would be great to find a good artist to attend concerts from while meeting my friends" :)

I am so fortunate to have been able to be a part of this tour!!  I somehow talked my amazing sister to join me in traveling to Europe to see five concerts in four countries, and it was absolutely amazing!!!!

So very glad to have met Ingrid, tunnel, Knopflerized, MOAT, Rail King, Martina, Mikel, herlock, Laurent, ds1884, Val and Colin, Isaac, Jeroen, JulianFlamend and others...  Meeting all of you and watching the shows together was a true gift!!

I look forward to seeing you in the next tour, whether it be in North America, or in Europe...  :wave  :D  :wave

Thanks to all involved in putting together the set lists  :clap. It makes it more bearable to live on the other side of the pond..in an area that is so apathetic towards good music.

In his final (very recommendable) entry of his tour blog Isaac wrote about some technical problems after "Song For Sonny Liston" and some word exchange between Mark and some "smartass" in the audience. It was not so pleasant to read, I guess Mark looked a bit arrogant here, but I wonder if this will be kept on the stick recording... It seemed there was a heavy "buzzing" first with Glen and then later Kerry was on the stage to detect the source which was found near Ian's drum kit... seemed to have been actually a real little concert break... Did anyone report about that earlier? Lots of little mistakes here and there. You are just not used to it being an MK fan (apart from Sultans)  ;)

Somebody who says that "Alchemy is massively overrated" and that speedway'a solo in Stuttgart is "the worst ever" is not controversial, but is the very root of all controversies ;) don't change anything, this is how we love you, I love freedom of speech, I love diversity of strong opinions, and I don't come to a forum to look myself in the mirror ! :) cheers

Well, I suppose it would be boring if I was just saying everything was great all the time!  I still love everything our man does though, just to lesser degrees of brilliance.  Oh no, I'm becoming boring! :o
