So one more date I think, unless my info was wrong  :P

I find the wording of the announcement very vague. "during October..." I hope your info underestimated the amount of shows :-/

I can't fathom that it is possible to break even to come to NA, reassemble the band, and a crew, to only do 4 or 5 shows, not that his tours make a ton of money as it is.

I also find that 4 or 5 dates doesnt worth the cost of putting all the band together, and the staff that its needed.

And also, its pretty unfair for the US fans just playing 4 shows at the West Coast. What happens with the rest of fans?

During October Mark and his band will perform four concerts in support of the long-awaited US release of Privateering.

Oct 23 - Terrace Theater, Long Beach, CA

Oct 25 - Pearl Concert Theater, Las Vegas, NV

Oct 26 - Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles, CA

Oct 27 - Fox Theater, Oakland, CA

Could be wrong here but i was expecting some big cities in this smal tour like NY, Chicago, Washington, Boston and Phoenix to name a few.  :think
I hope for some more dates for our american fans. Did not Richard say Nigel was going to be back in october? Perhaps he is working on his new album...

Wow! 4 whole shows! And all on the west coast! Thanks, Mark!

Be sure to pace yourselves, we wouldn't want you and the band to wear yourselves out over the course of this grueling tour!

Perhaps a full-fledged US Tour next year is the case.

Yet, he already toured with Bob last year and the Rolling Stones did quite the same 'thing' with only a few select dates in US and nothing more.

I really can not see the point of going true all this stuff that comes around with a tour and than go to the states for only 4 concerts.......
Anyone know something about venues he is playing. I believe some are small (LA) and a lot bigger one in Long Beach??

Oh well..sucks for all of us on the East Coast. Maybe Mark will throw us a wave out the window of the Legacy as he flies overhead :wave. Don't know about anyone else..but I can't afford to fly 3,000 miles for one show.

It's not a question of affording it- it's the strange looks you get from your friends when you tell them you traveled 3k+ miles to see a concert.  :)

Don't worry about what people think, you get used to those strange looks

Its clearly built up as a promo-thing. I remember the promoshows from previous years to be smaller in terms of venue and production
