Still nothing new ...  :disbelief
Any chance His Bobness is once again involved in Mark's fall schedule ?   ;)
Bob needs a lead guitarist for his Europe fall tour. We all know one guy who would kill to get the job  ::)  Easy conclusion.  ;)
That could explain why there's no confirmation so far - and no dates, no tickets ... - and why GF's answers suddenly changed.

Sorry my dear American friends, I'm only speculating, I don't want to ruin your dreams    :D

You've probably heard that Krusty fired his guitarist in the middle of his american tour and called back Charlie Sexton to replace him on stage the day after (July 3rd). Rest of the month , Charlie played alternately with Colin Linden depending on their availability.  My understanding is both of them were only an emergency solution and someone else will join Bob's band in Europe.  A Krusty-compatible top guitarist who can boost up the sales...   ::)
So, if Bob called Mark early July, do you think he got a clear no as an answer ?   :think

You must suffer from a sunstroke ;-)
I don't think MK would "die" to do the job, I am certain Krusty won't even dare to ask MK, knowing it will be a 100% NO

Personally I think it would be insulting to the US and Canadian fans to give them another tour shared with Dylan and I am 100% certain that MK will not be doing so!    Guy himself recently said this on his forum:

Question:Hi doc, make sure mark does not leave to take over the duke's spot in bob's band ;)

Guy: There is NO chance of that happening. It's a madhouse!

Apart from that there is the small matter that Bob is on tour in Europe during October and November and Mark's tour is, hopefully, planned for US and Canada!  :think

I missed that. Guy must know.   :hmm
I was only wondering if Mark alone who do the European tour with Bob provided he can modify or delay his US plans.
US tour is a different project and of course it must be a "normal" tour. I think we're done with joint  tours.  :P

Interesting to realize that I see the Bob/MK with very different eyes : for me Bob is still Mark's God.
I can't imagine another reason for MK opening twice for Bob and staying in the shadow while being the bigger draw... ???

Yes, thanks for that! Looks like this is on. Hoping for some east coast dates too.  :)

So that makes:

October 25: Las Vegas
October 27: Oakland

Let the investigation go through, if we are lucky, we have the tour earlier than mk.com  ;D  :clap

Should we open an official 2013 US tour thread and a first post adding the dates little by little?

Yes please Jbaent, would be great if we have a complete tour before mk.com announce something  :D
And maybe Allen can start looking for a tourpage already, so we can do the same as last time.

I will do west-coast, so I can provide live-setlist  ;)

Have some appointments now, so will be back online later.

Come on AMIT-ers, let the private investigation continue and prove that we are the best informed fansite in the world  :clap

Don't hope too much on eastcoast. If my info is reliable it will be 5 or 6 westcoast.
Planet can do the job by the way  :D

Just one date in NY a saturday evening ?   :wave
That would fit , it's on their way back to London...

West coast is a bit too far to do a quick in and out week-end trip.   :'(

Is possible tunnel, fridaynight or saturdaymorning early flight. Show on saturday, flight back on sunday, work on monday  :)
My past 3 months looked like this except I most of the time took an extra day off on friday and or monday to do 2 or 3 shows in a weekend  ;D
It's absolutely worth it. There were 4 weekends I drove 2000 km so a couple of hours flight are easier
