It must be either an age thing or a drink problem! :think ;)

It was actually Pottel himself who said it because he doesn't like the song.  Personally I would use Marbletown and I could go for an ice cream too!

No Sultans again - must have it in London town then.

Our S-L got a run again with NH.  I'm not really a fan but it'd be interesting to hear the song with a sax on it.

You will get sultans.  ;)
I can't imagine sultans being ejected 5 times in a row.  :disbelief

I thought it was a joke until I sat next to him...

My pee-break!"
And off he was  :-[

Poor dmg needs to keep hoping  :)
To be honest I'm already very surprised that sultans was droped out the three last shows.

Fantastic concert, followed up by a nice drink with some fellow amiters. Was an absolute honour to meet them.

Well to be honest, and I know I can to you all.
It was during the OES tour I suddenly had it with Romeo too,(and Juliet also)
ok I didn't took a pee pause in the Kuip and I haven't visit so many gigs as Pottel has.
But I also start skipping to the next song when it came along on a recording live or not.
(not counting the fact that during re-mastering through the past I had to listen)
Its during this tour that I listen to it again, I guess its maybe the way Mark sings it now a days , not always going with the melody line,
sometimes even in spoken kind of way, more feeling.
Or it must be that my relation ship failed two times in the past 12 months, and that lyrics suddenly does the job,
maybe if we didn't tried a second time , I was still skipping the track' , or a mixture of both :think

A story to think about when he goes for his break next time  ;D

thx for the reply's fellows

This was a storming concert what with Mark and the band playing really well and also our meet up with fellow amit-ers was really great and an honour to finally meet everyone and put faces to names. The highlight of the show for me was the run of the bulls in which I charged at the stage and was met by Ingrid. We were right in front of MK and I was able to watch with admiration the beautiful guitar playing of my hero!! Albeit with a rude lady shouting 'play walk of life' in our ears during 'our Shangri-la' she was told to listen to what was being played!! Anyway see you all tomorrow at 'The Stanhope arms'
