Well, if the applause he received is anything to go by, he should have got the message by now!   ;D

My brother and his wife loved the concert, btw  especially as SOS was played and TR, which my brother has always loved and never seen played live before!   I was sooooo pleased for them!   :)

If extended in this case means " longer" that's not true , al versions of SFA , so far were above the 6 min.
Mark plays some different licks "higher" on his guitar neck during this solo near the end, comparing to the other version.........I do love it BTW  :)

Hi everyone!   Just returned home from a truly fabulous gig at Liverpool!   It was most definitely up there with the best of them!

Highlights for me were "Seattle" which is one of my favourites from the album and Mark sang it beautifully, with Guy doing the harmonies.   It worked extremely well and I loved it!    When IUTC followed Seattle, I had a feeling that we would get Sultans!   I just can't express how I felt when I heard that familiar "ting ting ting" after R&J and when it happened there was a great cheer from the audience!   I was so happy that my heart was exploding with joy!  The audience went wild and there was great applause!

Other highlights were Gator Blood and a wonderful Marbletown.  Once again the interaction between John and Glenn was wonderful and impressed my brother very much, who accompanied us to this concert.   Then TR, which was played very powerfully and sounded pretty spot on as far as I could tell.  In any case, I enjoyed it tremendously!  "So Far Away" was played with an extended outro, which was unusual and sounded great!   Going Home was next and it was the perfect ending to an amazing concert!  btw I agree that Nigel is underused!

It was really wonderful for me to be back in my old hometown at this wonderful concert, and Liverpool never looked more beautiful and vibrant with the sun shining on the waterfront buildings and the Albert Dock.    I was so proud to be a Liverpudlian and there was a definite buzz about the whole place!

It was great to meet up with the fans again - Ingrid, Isaac and Jeroen and we shared a lovely meal together and drinks after the gig!

Altogether the perfect day!

I totally agree with everything said and I have to add that Liverpool os a beautiful city I never visitef before. I will be back

That's include 1 minute applauding. The song is in most concerts around 5 min. This one is 5.30. So slightly longer and more experimenting at the end including those nice licks between 4.30 en 4.45 (never heard it before)

yeah, you right Dutchessy it seems to last at least 20-30 sec longer , so sorry for my wrong count at that one :smack

I was more fixed on the different licks he played comparing to the other version before, and forgot about the clap, clap :clap
Mine extended apology :lol

First time seeing Mark for me on Sunday what a performer and what a band imply excellent in my eyes.

The song selection was pretty spot on for a first timer and the evening,as it always does when you're enjoying yourself, sped by in a flash,The Echo Arena is my local arena and its setting on the mersey is spot on but sadly seems to play host to endless x factor type shows and have the same appeal to me as a dose of flu does,so to see Mark was great.

One last thing my wife isnt a fan and went under duress last night, she had a great time and is as im writing this singing along to Privateering, cant ask for anything more.

Dear Val, thank you for the review. It is wonderful to hear that SOS was played, especial because you told that your brother likes that song very muchI I hope he enjoyed it as much as you did!

I am also glad that you all had a great time and enjoyed yourself before; during and after the concert. After all the fan meeting is part of the fun as well!

In exactly one week at this time we all will be together again enjoying the beautiful music of Mark. You can't imagine how much I look forward to that!

Hehe, aye it was when he got to the song Privateering she leaned over to me and said this is very different and then went quiet pretty much till the end of the gig,we were walking out and i asked had she enjoyed and she placed it second behind Paul McCartney (shes huge fan of his),sp i can give Sunday nights concert no greater praise.
