It's still a rather 'new' setlist, though a couple of them have been played before. Who did expect Diamond? Seattle is the 2nd time this tour, KOG too I guess? Besides, I suppose the set has been changed towards. Last year when MK was touring with BD, almost everyone wanted to hear Seattle and KOG. Now we have both...

Besides, SOS isn't perfect all the time... Listen to THE guitar part of the end solo from Bucharest. It's acutally pretty .... I'd better not give my opinion but he has played it much much better in the past. ;) I'd prefer Bonaparte instead. :lol

I miss SOS but I do not write shit about MK because of that. He has so many great songs. I am happy anyway.

Anyway, if Mark DOES play Sultans, they will find anything else to moan about. The creativity about not being satisfied with MK is endless it seems. He can't win.

I know that Mark has so many new songs & its about what HE wants to play, but I'm surprised that he chooses to drop Sultans rather than Telegraph Road, as that would free up more time in the set. Perhaps he has finally become bored with Sultans.  I will really miss it if it becomes the next permanently retired DS tune. To me, it is more historically important as their "breakthrough" song, & probably the one most "casual fans" still want to hear.
When you point your finger 'cause your plan fell through you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.

Not for me. It is just imo that a concert of MK is not complete with one the song that has made him this great. With this song it all started!!
i can live with no Brothers, So far away, Money for Nothing.  He can play whatever he wants but in a concert of MK there must be room for at least 2 DS songs and sultans is one off them. That is how i feel about it.

Yep, but would it be the same if SFA would be missing? ;D

Anyway, I think the setlists during this tour are way more interesting compared to previous tours (excluding GH tour).

I am also disturbed. SOS is a milestone that HAVE TO BE PLAYED.
This being said, it does not mean that other songs like IDUAD and MT are rubbish.
And dmg, I remember you saying (rightfully so) that BIA has been played better in the past (on the night). This is also true of SOS ! Think of Alchemy and live aid, much better than today.
So why one milestone is ok not to be played and not the other ? Ok it is SOS, te one that started it all... But BIA is also a major milestone.
