Pretty good - can't complain.  Seems like Postcards is the new Bonaparte.
And I guess thats fine by most of us :)

You can count me in for that one.

I would prefer Postcards to be the new Sony...

Just got back to my hotel from the show, that's was great. 17 songs, Sultans on set (but Milan version was much better  ;)), looks like Piper was unplanned: the crowd was great and after Telegraph Road a lots of people stand up from their seats and go to the stage - Mark was unbelievable happy, and he decide to play one more song. I will post some pictures soon, that's looks so fun )

Just back home...what a GIG! Mark a bit tired at the beginning, but getting a fire during CBC... The best setlist so far, 17 songs, 6 new songs, no Bonaparte and Sonny, they played Sultans and all those classic... I am such a lucky man tonight!  ;) And, there WILL be a recording, and not bad at all!!!  ;D

BIA is a masterpiece, whereas SFA is a little tune that could be dropped with no regret.
Well said.

Agreed !   :)  SFA is beginning to sound tiring to me.  Whereas BIA will move you at the first few notes, not to mention the rest of the song !

Actually reading this forum I learnt that every taste is in nature :)
I for myself *do* like Bonaparte: as a French and a History lover, I can relate to the lyrics, and I find the melody pleasant.
I cannot relate to boxing and to Sony Liston at all, and on top of that I find the "melody" incredibly boring. But I'm puzzled to see that some people here actually *DO* like Sony, so I have to respect it ! There are even people to like TLWNF, which for me is beyond comprehesion, but well :)
There are even people to dislike Marbletown, which leaves me speechless :) And when I met Isaac he told me that he didn't like Speedway because it was the one everybody liked !!

Is there any statement that would collect 100% of positive votes from forumers ? I'll try one:

"TOL is among the top 5 songs ever written by Mark, and should it come back, we would all go hysterical".

Anybody to vote against this ? ;)

I agree. But if TOL came back there would be too many heart attacks and strokes because of exreme happiness.

Hi Herlock!    Well I am one of the few on the forum who actually does like Bonaparte and also Sonny, especially for the solo, BUT definitely not to replace a classic such as SOS!  I also like TLWNF,  I can't help it - I just do!   ;D   Marbletown and Speedway, imo are a must - I love them both!   The only songs I am not too keen on are WOL and if it was played as in 2011 and 2012 - STP, so I hope they don't reappear when Nigel joins the band!   ;)   BTW At the moment I like Postcards much better than Bonaparte - it makes a pleasant change!

PS - TOL would probably give ME a heart attack!    :lol
