...or maybe it's been hyped too much and can't live up to your expectations.  Can often be the case with things like this.

Yuk, that 2010 pattern shirt is back...  :-X

liked the blue one much more! This can't be! Will write to Guy immediately...

 ;)

I don't mind this shirt.  It's soft & faded (been worn a lot) & works with the black tee.  Some of his shirts look too big and long (or stiff).  I thought he looked good in the blue shirt he wore the first night and it was tucked in.....so we could see his butt :)

I think it was actually 2008 he started wearing that shirt!  Hope he's had it dry cleaned.  Eew! :o

As Guy and Richard mention quite often, these are stage clothes.

The one he used on STP on that tour, 2001.  My favourite versions.

I'd be interested to hear Guy play harmonica on other songs too, such as Bluebird.

yes, and probably the one used on the studio version (best tone for this song IMHO)

I remember back in 2000, before STP release, when reading some pre-reviews on the net, there was some rumors that the STP album will get a "LOG flavour", and indeed, when I first heard STP (the song) I immediately thought : "that's it, the tone I was waiting for years, since the LOG album : a little bit dark, not really clean, not really drived, just in between, etheral, aerian, THE tone"

I sometimes miss this kind of tone in concert

strange that he plays slide on a strat, I guess gator blood is the danelectro on the album

about Guy on harmonica, if he can play it, why does'nt he play it on IUTC ?

I know sooner or later The shirt will come back.  I like the blue shirt better too. :thumbsup :clap  It looks much more suitable for him.  I like to see him in just a regular casual T-shirt also.  I'll go back to check the first night, so I can check you know what.  Joan, I love your observation. :thumbsup :clap  :)

That version of Sultans was something indeed. Best version in ages.

True! He plays really well now, and it's a joy! He hasn't played like this for ten years or so... What happend? Just like that? Longer solos, less, if any, misses, more precise and more energic playing. I am really impressed over what they have done for this tour. I didn't expect the songs to sound that good or for Mark to play that well, cause this has really changed! Now we are ready for Tunnel of Love, and I think Mark is too  :clap :clap
It's the end of a perfect day..,.
