They have played 30 different songs now and apparently rehearsed 36.
It is probably safe to assume RT and TLWNF make it 32/36(after having been soundchecked). So 4 tunes left(if I am correct)
I'm hoping for : OES, Silvertown and BR make up 3 of the 4 left.
I seriously doubt it though
By the way SFA must be the most underwhelming song MK has performed on his tours for years.....why he persists playing it regular is beyond me
I must take my concerns to Guy, I'm sure I'll get a measured, articulate and informative answer(especially if I mention eggs and Range Rovers in the message) ...He's good that way.
I think that this "alone in the dark" or whatever it is called does not really count for one song. Maybe F&S does not count either, so potentially you could get 1 or 2 more songs
The 3 you mention are a dream... as much as I would love it, I bet more on STP (with sax as), maybe WOL with sax (argh !), WAM (with sax) and maybe MFN...
BR was a great opener, I'm not sure how it could fit in the setlist as a non-opener as its intro is quite long and would break the rythm... unless it takes the role of the opener again... but I don't think there was ever a DS/MK concert were the opener was changed.. would be a first !
I agree with you on SFA. The only way to turn this little pop tune into a masterpiece is to play first the calypso version as in Sydney'86 ! I love it! and the transition between the calypso part and the normal part is just awesome...
