I am not aware of any official filming of the MK crew during this tour, apart from one or two shows where screens were used obviously...

The release I was speculating at would be a pure audio live album release.

Hopefully somebody could give me some advice to choose between two shows. Which one is better in terms of performance and sound quality: clermont or dijon? Thanks

I was at both shows. Dijon was the better one imo.

Clermont.
The reason is 100% objective: I was in Clermont and not in Dijon :D

The USB Flash drive of the Madrid concert was the one I had ordered back on 2 June, so with this reply I received from  markknopfler-live.com this evening 30 July (Australia timezone),

 "....unfortunately we have to inform you, that there won't be a recording of the Madrid concert.
Please let us know, if you want a refund for your order or if you would like to have a recording from a different concert on your usb flash drive..."  ......

so fellow AMIT's,  "Which Of the many Concerts"   would you recommend,  I get instead  ?

St Julien, Rennes, London were great ones.

Avoid Paris, Clermont [Dijon is better but different tracklist], Nimes, Glasgow...

Liverpool - very good versions particularly of TR, Speedway, Marbletown, Postcards, SFA and Going Home - Nigel Hitchcock too!  Also RAH 1st night is very good with both Ruth and Nigel!   :)

Madrid concert was recorded but they dont sell it because of the prices.

I do think that when they accepted the preorders they kind of made a contract that they have to honour, so as long as the concert is recorded, I think they have to send it to the preorders. I understand they dont sell it anymore because they retired the concert from the site but the preorders...

What do you think? i emailed them asking to honour that preorders.

I wonder what would be their reaction if I told them something like "I've pre-ordered the San Sebastian stick, I don't want it anymore, please refund me"....   :think
They'd surely hide behind "a contract is a contract"-style excuse.   ::)
