They confirmed that my Bremen stick was "made ready for shipping" on May 16th! Still not there...  But I got the link so in the meantime I could listen to it. But of course I want the stick as a souvenir. A little pissed about this situation... What is so difficult so send something inside of Germany...

Thanks everyone !!!  :wave

About the flu, well, I just got out of bed 15 minutes ago ... so have been in bed for like 15-16 hours in a row (again) ... I do feel a little better at the moment ! Cancelled all birthday plans already yesterday, knew it wouldn't work out, so perhaps I celibrate it next weekend.

Not as an excuse, but I'm down with the flu at the moment so that may have had something to do with way I answered your posting. In the end all the confusion (at least from my side) could have been avoided if you had been more specific in your first or second posting. As it stands, I was so far (correct me if I'm wrong) the only one who posted in this topic to have received a link without actually having received a stick first, so it wasn't very strange that I felt you talked about me, is it ?

Stefan, I didnt read your post. We write too much and I miss many of the posts, or better said, I look at them very quickly searching for key words that make me stop and read. Yours is, forgive me, one of the lots of unread posts (by me) so sorry about the confusion, I didnt know you could think I was talking about you, and I never thought that could be so big deal.

Accept my appologies, get well and win the battle to that flu (you know, a flu last seven days with medication, a week without it), and have a nice day!

jbaent, no worries my friend. These things can happen on forums .. and it's not about that they hapen, but about the way people solve them (read: people treat eachother). So appologies accepted !!

I played the files on the stick the first time with VLC player. I thought the quality was actually really bad, the songs sounded out of tune, as if the speed with which the songs were played was not consistent. I don't know how to explain otherwise. Playing it now with windows media player and it sounds very good!

Ok, I play it on my iMac, in Audacity. Overall the mix is ok, I just find that MK voice is mixed too loud. Public is well mixed, at times when we thought it was over, they put cut or softer. I'm happy with it, but it was 2005 and the Simfy recordings really better.

I'd try deleting cookies on your PC.
Just an idea.

I seemed to remember that I'd had trouble ordering from the MK site before using my normal browser (Firefox) so I tried using internet explorer, and although the payment details page was slow to load, I managed to order one this time !
When you point your finger 'cause your plan fell through you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.

Guess what. Coming home from London and my Bremen stick finally arrived! Perfect timing I would assume. And believe it or not: it is full of music!
