John Mayer
« on: April 26, 2013, 10:02:57 PM »
Hi!

John Mayer also started his tour last night. Anyone heard his playing? I mean - wow! He has really taken it to the next level. His voice is still a bit rough, but I guess it will get better... Love this new country-rock style music of his! Check out this one:

Queen of California with a nice guitar solo at the end!

:)

Hope you get tickets! :) Both me and Jarle tried to get tickets to the show in Oslo, but neither of us did get it :(
Anyway, I will not give up yet! I love the Born & Raised album! :)

Sorry to hear that Klaas! But its almost 5 months left, until he comes to Europe, so there is still a chance :)

Can you post that link again? :)

to be accurate, it's EC who played this song (because of blind faith), and indeed Mark played 2nd guitar during EC 88 tour  :)

Got tickets for his concert in Copenhagen this fall. Sold out in 20 minutes I think it was. I'm so stoked.

Still love JMs last album Born and Raised, very 'The band' feel with tasteful sounds, solos and good songwriting.
The solo in 'If I ever get around to living' is almost knopfleresque in its restraint and perfection.

I hear his ott personality has calmed down a lot too? Which will help endear him to normal people more.
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!
