Easy:
Since 2010: Border Reiver and Piper To The End
Without Ian:
Romeo, Sultans and Telegraph Road.
Plus one "surprise". Ready is the 2013 set list...
LE
Ian played R&J and Sultans at the Range Rover launch event I think.
But I like this news, especially the fact they are playing different songs from Privateering; I always thought they chose poor ones to perform. Bring on Bluebird, Submariner etc. and drop IUTC, HA etc.
Surprises are good too - not a word normally associated with our Mark!
Well, 2008 set was full of surprises by MK... Cannibals, Hill farmer blues, Marbletown, Daddy gones to Knoxville, Postcards from Paraguay... Totally unexpected by me.
Don't spoil it for me you guys - I'm excited!
Knoxville and Devil Baby were only played a few times anyway.
I'm glad you're excited, dmg!
Devil Baby only once.
In Holland
Devil Baby, Knoxville and Going Home is not exacty what I expect in the category "new songs"....
LE
But you wouldn't mind hearing "Fare Thee Well Northumberland" for the first time, even though it's not new, would you, LE?
I'd love to hear that song - and "Before Gas & TV"!
I noticed that someone tweeted John the other day, asking if they had rehearsed "Before Gas & TV" and "Yon Two Crows", but no response!
