But I like this news, especially the fact they are playing different songs from Privateering;  I always thought they chose poor ones to perform.  Bring on Bluebird, Submariner etc. and drop IUTC, HA etc.

But you wouldn't mind hearing "Fare Thee Well Northumberland" for the first time, even though it's not new, would you, LE?    ;)    I'd love to hear that song - and "Before Gas & TV"!    :P   I noticed that someone tweeted John the other day, asking if they had rehearsed "Before Gas & TV" and "Yon Two Crows", but no response!   ;)

"There have been misleading reports in the media, stating that Mark Knopfler will be performing a special set featuring at least eight Dire Straits singles. This is not correct.

All ticket purchasers must clearly understand that the list of songs that Mark Knopfler will perform at Cap Roig will be drawn from the sets of the 70 other shows of his European tour and whilst this may include a small number of well-known Dire Straits songs, (as has been the pattern in all of Mark
