I remember singing All that matters to my oldest son on the day he was born, and it's still true, him and his brother are all that matters. :)

Love and happiness has a similar message.

Hey Nababo, being a father is one of the best experiences in life. Best wishes for a safe delivery! It's all that matters.

As for songs, I only chose "One world". I have many skippers now, but when I was buying the DS albums little by little with my lunch money, I always listened to them from beginning to end, without skipping. So I can't quite put my finger on the ones that just wore off, from heavy playing and over listening(Except WOL, Heavy Fuel, the Bug and Calling Elvis, which were skippers after only a couple of years, so probably dislike them) . That is why I couldn't vote for any solo songs. I have doubts if I have heard them enough to let them sink in. But truth be told from all songs, I could never stand One world, right from the start.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

well I like One world. I know many people find it the worse song by MK (Dusty ?), but I must admit I like it.
Maybe lyrics are weak, but no matter for me, I like the funky-bluesy mood, with that dirty tone, a stratish drived tone, not that overused les paul tone.
BTW Mark played Jack Sonni'strat on it :

And... I like Walk of life too...

When it comes to taste it is strictly personal. There's so many worlds, so many different suns  but we have got one world, but we prefer to go to Mars.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I am used to hate WOL but it is more the way it is played than the song itself.
The Mandela Concert version with Eric's blazing soli sound just awesome.

For sure it is Tony Levin playing on it, not "then broken thumb"John!

Listen to the live version and see the difference...

One world is in fact a blues or Rhythm and blues/soul song. Both lyrics and its stracture. I don't much care about lyrics on BiA album anyway, they are by far the weakest in DS discography(I quite like the lyrics of YLT). So I would really like to see it transformed in its original form, and not with this instrumentation and production. I know it is only personal taste,I don't try to convince anyone, but when I try to be more objective about the quality of some songs of my favourite artists, I always ask myself this question: Would I even notice or listen this song if it was recorded from an unknown artist? I know that all in all the question  is very subjective, but it is the best thing I can come up,
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

The live versions were great  ;D It sounds a bit empty on the record with only one guitar and not much of rhytm except for that funky bass. The live versions were very powerful.

Nevertheless, I think he could get some fancy notes on his guitar

The lead licks on the album One World is great for sure. Would have like a separate rhytm guitar though.
