What is everyone's least favorite MK songs?

For me, the worst is Heavy Fuel but it's not the poll list !

Not a great song indeed but at least there's some guitar.

Indeed, but what I would give for him to be doing songs like that now.

I forgot Heavy Fuel.  I don't like it at all, I never have and the fact it has some guitar doesn't help endear it to me one bit!    Thank goodness he isn't doing songs like that today!   The songs he plays now are miles better!

I guess John and Mike couldn't find a place on songs like that.

Even John and Mike couldn't make me listen to HF!       It was always a skipper for me!   

Like about 75% of songs in MK's last few records for me I'm afraid.

But would you still call yourself an MK fan - or maybe just a DS fan?   

I don't know.  The ones I like are great and he still has his certain style and songwriting.  This is why I miss the guitar playing these days and the gruff vocals;  these were his stock in trade and the very things that made me fall in love with his music.

Well, you can't bring back the gruff voice - it was only gruff because he smoked too much!    His smooth vocals suit today's songs much better and I love that voice.     Besides, I can listen to the gruff one any time I like at the flick of a switch!

I can speak for myself - if it wasn't obvious enough...  - but the fact is that I'm becoming a father in a couple of months and this song it's always on my mind. Well, since it was released I always thought it would be a great song to mumble and whisper to my - then hypothetical - son or daughter.

Put down you lunches folks!  I find this song vomit inducing.  Sentimental, lovey-dovey, mushy music for old women.  Generalising heavily here but I can't see many teenage heavy metal fans liking it!

Lunch!  It's not even 10.30am!        As for teenage heavy metal fans, I couldn't see them liking anything DS or MK did!   It's not one of my favourites by a long way, but there's a lot worse!       EC did something similar on The Road to Escondido, "Three Little Girls" - now that WAS vomit inducing stuff!

It looks like " ALL that matters" and "True Love will never Fade" tie in the poll at the moment.  5.3%     Never care for "TLWNF" too slow and boring.

There are so many really boring song I couldn't vote to All that matters.
Imagine the nightmare to chose only 10 if Monteleone, After the beanstalk, Radio City serenade, Your latest trick, The last laugh, Baloney again, all the EH stuff exwere listed in the poll.

As I read the posts on this topic, I realized that I must have incredibly poor taste in music as many of my favorite MK songs are among those that seem to be among the least liked (i.e. The Fish and the Bird, All That Matters). Oh well, I am too old to change my ways now!

No, you don't have poor taste, Rkd, just different taste!    I seem to be a bit out-of-step too - I actually love "True Love Will Never Fade" at present chasing  "All That Matters" to the top spot !       I love "The Fish and the Bird" too!

True!      I remember hearing it played at City Hall, Newcastle in 2005 and I loved it.  It's not one of my favourites, because I like so many others more,  but I don't dislike it, either.
