Ok thanks. But this is the real thing (we have Ed and Chris) so I won't waste my precious time with another forum. Plus Facebook is a pain in the ass anyway.

Most of my least favourite songs have grown on me by the time, so there is non for me.
Even my least favorite album “Kill To Get Crimson” has grown on me and now is one of my favorite albums.
That's the phenomenal thing about Mark's music, sometimes it takes a little longer to recognize a hidden gem.

Agree!   Same happened with me regarding KTGC.    :)

disagree val. ktgc was never played again after opening it and playing it for the first time in my household. but i do not worry, there is SO much more to spend time on in his catalogue

I have too many least favorite MK songs to mention. I'm getting more and more disenchanted with Mark's solo work, especially post-Shangri La. All his solo albums have gems, though, but none of his work gives me as much pleasure as the DS and Communique albums.

Hey Pottel, you imply that you've only heard it once and gave up on it? Maybe not the right moment to hear it, like me, because it came out when my first daughter was born and simply couldn't devote the time needed, so I gave up on it too early. Later on, after years, I just kept playing it over and over again and it was a revelation. Still not his best album, but was an initiation that made his output after it more accessible.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Wild that Pottel will listen to 50 Dylan and 50 Gilmour bootlegs a week but doesn't have time to try KTGC again.  ;D

As I have said before, I never skip any of Mark's songs, there is always merit in each one. I am disappointed to see True Love Will Never Fade so disliked, it is one of my favourite songs from Mark, particularly his love songs, and when played live, his solo's and guitar sound is beautiful.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.
