It was great fun to see them, as always -- especially being so much closer than I expected to be.
I would have loved it if cameras had been allowed, as they are for most MK shows, because I could have probably gotten some decent shots from that distance.

How was MK and the band's performance, because I heard there was some kind of technical problem, which was put right for the second show - was this apparent?     Also how was Bob?    Anyway, I'm glad you had good seats and had a good time!

The performances were wonderful. Everything and more that you expect from these guys.
The first night, there was a bit of distortion from the bass for Glenn and Mark. It went on all night but wasn't awful and may just have been in the speakers in front of me. The second night it was fine, but on HFB, MK's vocals had a bit of an echo to them. He made a face or two when it happened, so I'm sure he heard it, but he was able to keep going perfectly.
I stayed through the fifth Dylan song each night. That's the one MK played on the first night. The second night, he didn't guest on Bob's show.
I got only 6 1/2 hours sleep over 4 days and drove about 1,200 miles, so I didn't stay through Bob's shows.

I noticed that too!  A little different, adding his own in places.

Another difference in recent shows is during Marks solo where he interacts with Glenn a little just before going back into his vocals.  Still wish he'd drop the song though!

I noticed a little "yelp" from MK's guitar in one of the solos - it was a tingle moment!        

Sonny Liston has not been a favourite of mine, but if it continues to evolve in this way, I don't mind it staying!

Did anyone else notice when he nearly got the lyrics mixed up on Bonaparte?  You'd have thought he'd known them by now considering the number of times he's performed this song!

Got it Val!  The bit in Crows I was referring to may be Mikes' pipes, I really don't know.  It is just before the line "we were at this game two-hundred years ago..."  About 2:40

Too many photos! And beautiful ones! A Dave  M. Shumway caught my eye! It will take me days to explore this ever growing archive!
