reading this discussion I know that much of this concerts are in tk tracker, spanish great site. Now I can't entry because my account is denied for ratio problem. I try to contact it by e-mail but nothing at now. I ask someone what I'll do for have chance for entry in again, to have the music that I love......

First you have to leave the downloaded files, up,  for at least 1-2weeks, so your ratio improves.I have limited hard drive space,but I prefer to leave them for other fans to find,unfortunately no more than two weeks. I have received some requests from fans but don't know how upload (re-seed) again. If someone who knows have the time to explain please do either here, or PM me. Thank you.

 I don't know if the tracker works with your IP.If it does, you have to ask the administrators, because a new name and account won't work either.
 If it doesn't check your IP, try opening a new account, but always check your ratio! I am going to check mine now as well!

I've never uploaded either I'm afraid (don't know how) so its always important to leave your downloaded torrents open for others.  It also helps to get in first before others have already downloaded, then more people will get it from you and choose popular ones;  current tour or uncirculated is always best.

My Ratio is very low indeed(0.68), but I guess I can hook up my external drive to raise it and help some of you guys as well. Just take the time to explain to me how do you re-seed through the Knopfler TK tracker! I don't have the slightest idea. And I get requests from a year back!

So long as you have all the files complete (including the torrent file) and the file is in the list/library in your program (utorrent, Vuze etc.) then it should automatically seed, assuming there is someone out there leeching.

Thanks dmg. I am sort of aware of this! Knopfler TK suggest this, but every time I try it, I don't see the number of seed-ers rise, and I don't know how it is announced on the Knopfler TK, and therefore rewarded with the extra points for reseeding. Mind you, I don't really care for the points, I just saw that the bottom limit is 0.25, and I don't download as much as I used to, but still...
As for the torrent file, I always delete it  2-3 weeks after the completion of the download, because I also remove the files. If they are big (video type 3-4.7 GB) I burn them and store them after I go through them (fast forward, I don't have the time). If they are smaller (usually audio) I keep them in the back up external so I can search and listen to them easily. If I like something very much I make an audio CD to use in my stereo. So these files are present, but not the original torrent file. When I re-seed, I download the torrent from the trackeragain and before I run it in the client program I also put the file at the download folder. Usually they find each other (but curiously not completed? but 98-99%) and start (downloading &) seeding. I don't know why this happens and I don't know if this way registers to knopflerTK. Any ideas?

You need to keep the torrent file for your client program in order to seed/leech.

When I changed to MacBook Pro it had problems with seeding using utorrent.  I now use Vuze and that seems better for my Mac.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. I have been downloading with my power mac, but some new programs and sites demand upgrades in order to function, and my Mac can not accept them. I sometimes use a PC I have to do my job and this interaction between PC and Mac, creates the problems.
And I don't keepthe original torrent file.
And I use utorrent.
So now I know why, and how to avoid doing it for the new files, but I don't know how to deal with it for the older files. Hope next time they ask for something  the original solution works, at least to help somebody get what he wants.

That must be the problem because utorrent worked fine on my PC, and still does when I have it on, but never really worked well on my Mac.  I downloaded Vuze a couple of days ago just and have already downloaded three torrents and they seem to seed great.
