hide,..brilliant. still hope soomlos will release his as well...

Is there a way I can send them personal emails of thanks for what they have done.
So awesome. I'm blown away with the quality. Sound almost like Simfy recordings.
soomlos has no own account anymore, used to have one, now passes on his recordings via Kosa (even though i believe it is one and the same ) and hide can be simply reached by using the pm functionality. pls do share your feelings with them...
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I've spent the day putting all my downloads onto CD for archive and after listening to San Francisco shows and later the band seem to have changed the arrangements slightly here and there, Mark has dusted off the cobwebs and the band is beginning to work now just as it should have from the word go.

The show now is another matter altogether - that still doesn't thrill me.

I think Mark's been reading my post's because the arrangement of Crows has changed in exactly the way I had suggested earlier! 8)
Now this is interesting, in what way did Crow change exactly and when ? I still think Saskatoon is the best version because the end solo (from the last vocal to the end of the song) is 1''40' instead of 1'26'' on most other recordings; SF 1rs night is almost as long but I feel the sound is not as good as Saskatoon and Mark's guitar cannot be heard properly... Before the solo, it seems that the change is that I can hear violin/other instruments a bit more to back Mark's vocals, is this what you are referring too ? what is your favourite version ?
Cheers

You've hit the nail on the head.  The change I noticed is indeed the band coming in to back Mark and pick it up a bit before the final solo.  A coincidence I suggested this just after the first version was put on Dime?  Who's reading AMIT from the band? :wave

San Francisco 17th is my favourite version.  I feel the slight tweaks I made to the song (he he) make all the difference! ;)

A request to the editors: could you please create  a  NEW post for every new recording, apart from including it as an edit in the beginning of this thread? Much appreciated.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

What say we put all recordings Yt vids etc at page 1 of each separate concert, where the venue and set-lists are?
I put the Kingdom of gold video from SF 18th on that 1st page....
lets know you views...

Yes, let's do both. New posts and first page mentions. For "heads up" when a new recording is available, because it sends an automatic notification (when you edit a post it doesn't) and first page for quick reference when you look it up after some time.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Surely hope he wears earplugs. Too many concerts can harm your ears.

Thanks for taking the time to reply jbaent, but no heads up (notifications) for edits, I'm afraid. At least not for me.

Do you have a NOTIFY button at the end of the thread? I guess it works at least when someone post here, I wonder if it works when the first post is edited...

Hi again jbaent! When you post a reply at a topic I automatically get notifications, (like your reply, I got an email at my yahoo account  :)  ). Alternatively, when you don't want to post a reply but you are interested in a topic, you press the notify button on top or bottom of the page. In both cases the button turns into "unnotify". I get the automatic post for new posts but not for edits.   :'( I have lost lots of info contained in edits, and I only edit my posts when I spot a mistake, but before somebody else replies and certainly not after an hour, because in most cases it will be read already. So I post a new reply to fix it.)
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
