Thanks for posting again a photo of the venue. First I thought, the shows in Canada and US won`t be interesting for me, because it`s soooo far away and  I don`t have the chance to see MK there, but now, after such a lot of interesting post, photos and GF-diaries I`m really in on  it  :D

This is my hometown. The Saddledome, build for the '88 Olympics, is chiefly used for pro and junior hockey. Looking forward to the show this evening. My eight time seeing MK but first seeing BD. I'll try to post a setlist and little review at some point. Cheers

SFA on vid is not necessary a bad sign. I'd love to be alive until SFA for my next gig ::) :think

Enjoy the show.

I've only paid a brief visit to Calgary (a day or two, en route from the Rockies to Drumheller, of all places) and it was a long time ago but I have fond memories, especially of the view from the viewing platform in the CN Tower.

As I've said here before, BD is not an easy listen, especially for the first time, but, even with his limited vocal range and throatiness nowadays, he does offer "a helluva show", as one MK fan I know said of the recent Edmonton show, adding, "for a 70 year old" - a backhanded compliment, I guess, but a compliment nevertheless.

Great show! Best I've heard MK sound in years!

What It Is
Cleaning My Gun
Privateering
Yon Two Crows
Redbud Tree
I Used To Could
Song For Sonny Liston
Daddy's Gone To Knoxville
Hill Farmer's Blues
Marbletown
So Far Away

I think I've got everything, order might not be correct. LOVE Ian Thomas, what a difference he makes. I last saw MK at the beginning of the Get Lucky tour and he seemed tired and old. I thought he was fantastic tonight. Voice sounds great! And you can hear his vocals again.

Bob was Bob. Unfortunately he ruined a lot of his tunes with his horrible piano playing. Too bad because his band is fab. I took a little video but was getting the stink eye from MK. Plus, security was right on you tonight.

Thanks Daveyray70 for the report and setlist.
Good to read you had a wonderful evening.   ;D

Too bad they still don't understand simple things about videos.  :disbelief  We'll see that next year.  ;)
Hope it was not too embarrassing for you.

By the way, if bob can't do it on piano, give him a guitar  :lol

Bob Dylan's set from Calgary:-

http://soundcloud.com/ca-hi-ca-1/2012-10-10-calgary

I think now its time to see any MK recording available, isnt it?

When I was in Glasgow at the MK /BD concert, I taped the MK show and I didnt have the idea of record anything else, but then I thought... Why not? Its just push a button...

Its just push a button, and then edit the concert and upload it but... I did it although the Krusty show was a bad dream and the Krusty fans were very bothering during the pre-shows, the MK shows, and specially during the Krusty show...

Thanks DMG  ;D

My point is, if I can bother to tape, edit and share the Krusty concert when I didnt care a damm about it and I had very tiring and noising memories about it (and the band was very very good, but too high volume and Krusty groaring), why can
