Why is there talk about two previous Dylan tours? Did I miss a complete tour or what...

I listened to both videos and have to agree with dmg! I don't like both songs. Miss You Blues is really played like a lullaby, this is something I will never show or play to anyone because I feel ashamed of it - MK's vocals on both songs are weak, how comes at the beginning of a tour... The solo on RT sounds exterted, cramped, and my Favourite track of the album, Miss You Blues, suffers from total lack of energy... I also think that Richard's playing on RT does NOT fit the song, especially the way he ends his parts...

I was about to download that show (and big and honest Thank you to Pottel for making it available here) but I guess I will sleep over it and maybe wait for some later shows... if these two songs are an example of the quality I guess I pass this one..

I think regarding Crows, the band need to pick it up a bit on the last verse to blend it into the final crescendo.  It just doesn't quite work for me this version.  Mark tries to build it up with the vocals but the band don't follow suit.  I also think Mark should maybe join in a bit more with the guitar on the last verse.  I know this is the first show so perhaps this is changed now but it sounds strange when the vocals end;  sounds a bit abrupt due to the sudden change of pace and noise.

I might think about it.

Maybe we should give him some time. I remember listening to the first few shows from the US in 2010 and I was also not very convinced, especially about Border Reiver... But I still think today's clips are showing MK in a not too good state.. have been heard much better... And boy, when this Shakespeare
story comes up AGAIN, I felt like  :smack :smack :smack :smack... is he really serious? And all told in this sleepy manner... I think they are partying too much and should get focused more on the real thing...  ;D

Yeah, this theatre thing comes up again and am I the only one who thinks it sounds a little pompous?  I mean does he really want to relate to his fans by assuming we all go to watch Shakespeare plays every week!

Wether I said everything stinks nor did I ever say he's God. But I have ears and personal preferences and judged a performance that I think is not among his best ones. As I know he is able to do much better and as this is a discussion forum I thought I might be allowed to say what I think about it.

You're absolutely right. I can honestly say I know you are hugely dissapointed. I probably had lower expectations hence not being pissed off about the tour.
