LOL  :D Pardon me, cause I thought it was already broadcasted a few weeks ago on Sky Arts. I probably messed up with the months, 16th of October instead of September.  ;D

It appears to be "just" our Mark.  Not that I'm bothered about that! ;D

The demo of Sultans sounds different than from the original red/white single. Is this the Charlie Gillett demo?

Noted that "it's raining in the park" sounds like "it's RAIning in the park"...

If it's the demo, it certainly is the Gillett demo. The single is a different recording, but not a demo.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

http://www.amarkintime.org/forum/index.php/topic,2683.0.html

the SOS demo was recorded on 27/07/1977, given to Charlie Gillett, and later featuring on the CD "honky tonk demos"

The SOS single version was recorded on 20/04/1978, to have a "rockier" sound, I guess asked by WB ?

funny to notice that it's on this version that Mark had the few bars just before the famous final licks (which don't feature on the album version), few bars that he kept on all live versions.... until the hurlingham show in 2009 where he "explains" how came the idea. Now he did'nt plya these bars anymore
