Yes Jbaent is right, i made a mistake, the Beaulieu version is in the "normal" rhythm (shuffle)
snape 90 and sawn hunter 93 are also in shuffle rhythm

It's the NHB version from late 90's which is in straight time :

Mark said "we changed it "

Thanks for posting! And honestly, I couldn't say which version I prefer.

I consider that one as one of the best live version, july 24th 1999, especially the Chris part

I think it's like asking for Sultans of Swing in its original arrangement on an acoustic guitar. Good luck finding that :)

wait, what?

Yes, nice. But I always prefered this one - the intro alone is literally a goosebumps-moment:

I have seen this one before and it is wonderful, of course, but the first impressed me more because it was entirely solo.    ;)

It seems the first one was inspired by the 1996 version, would you agree?
I hear some Jim piano part in it...

nababo I have his interview from Mtv somewhere in a VHS(back from 1991) when he is asked about his songwriting and he answers that some times a song starts differently, like Fade to black, that started like a Chuck Berry number. And then he picks his guitar and plays a few bars no more than 10 -15 seconds. You probably refer to this.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Yes, it's probably it. Thanks, Vgonis. When DS released On every street, I'd read and watched a lot of interviews and stuff about the album, but at the time I didn't have ways to collect them - I didn't have a vhs on my own... So many, many things I recall have heard about, but not in which source.
